Online users who have received email messages like the one below, which claim that their email accounts are very low on data volume are asked to delete them. This because the email messages are phishing scams being sent by cyber criminals to trick the recipients into visiting a malicious website that steals email account usernames and passwords.

When data get 100% exhausted it will lead to certain mail malfunction and lost of files in the near by future.

The link in the email message goes to a phishing website that will ask visitors to sign-in with their email account credentials. But, any attempt to sign-in will result in the visitors' credentials being sent to the cyber criminals responsible for the scam.

Once the cyber crooks have gotten their potential victims' email account credentials they will gain access to, hijack and use them fraudulently. Therefore, online users who have already been tricked by the phishing scam are asked to immediately change their email account passwords before their accounts are hijacked.

Note: Some of the names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers in email samples on this website may have been impersonated.
