How to Verify a Website has a Valid McAfee SECURE Certification?

McAfee monitors the misuse of their McAfee SECURE Trustmark. If you suspect that a site is improperly displaying the McAfee SECURE Trustmark, you can verify a website’s certification in their directory of certified sites.

Go to the following website to search their directory of certified sites:

To search the directory either search for the site’s name (for example, “tory burch” or “party city”) or type in the site’s URL. If searching by URL please do not enter http, www, or “/,” instead use the domain name and the top-level domain (for example, “toryburch.com” or “partycity.com”).

If you find a site that is using a fake or counterfeit trustmark, please click here to report it to our customer support team.
