A few persons have told me that they have received Social Security scam telephone calls from a 210 area code, which is located in the San Antonio, Texas. Please see the comments below if there is any below. If you have calls from area code 210, please share experiences with me by leaving a comment below. Area code 210 is a North American Numbering Plan overlay of telephone area codes 312 and 773 in Chicago, Illinois, and entered service on November 7, 2009.

Got a text from 210-920-4288 Message: "What's New?". I've gotten several similar from other area codes. I'm not sure if they come through on my toll free business line or the linked local number. Usually they are accompanied by a picture of an attractive Asian girl. SCAM!Reported as junk and deleted.
I got a call from a 210 number yesterday saying they r going to freeze my acc I didn't answer
I got a call from 210-517-6283 claiming it was social security admin detecting fraud on my SS account and they were issuing an arrest warrant and for me to hit 1 for a prompt. No way. Beware this number.

210-942-2291 called me today, I missed the call and when called back claimed to be the social security administration and they wanted my name and last four of my social security number to look up my file. My bs radar sensed it was a scam.

I have received two calls from 210 598 6493 about a claim against me and if I don't respond within 24 hours that further action will be taken. They posed themselves as lawyers. They also said to call back at 844-322-6699 and 855-499-0268. I called at the 210 number and asked who they were. The guy called his company as SAS something like that. Told the guy to stop calling me. Scammers for sure. Beware of any unknown urgent call. if there is a claim, you should get a mail and it has to make sense. Be safe.
210-739-0714 is a scam about social security number.

Today, I've received 8, YES *8!!! phone calls within 2 hours from all different numbers but all with 210 area code. ZI kept blocking every number but they kept calling from a new one. After no answering 7 of them, I decided to answer and hear what they have to say so Important....It was a recorded message from the "investigation unit" of the Social Security regarding my SS# being suspended and an arrest warrant in my name if I didn't take immediate action. Then, I pressed 1 to speak to a "representative" and a person with Indian accent answer the call.I told him, who is this? why are you keep calling me? and he just replied: what is your name?I replied: you should know it better as you have call me 8 times within 2 hrs. and he just hang down and I got disconnected.There is something that can be done with this type of scam calls. I am smart and won't fall for it but I know there is so many people, most of them elder or very naïve, who think this is real and fall for their scam getting ripped and stolen.Pretty much every day, I get 1 or 2 calls from unknown numbers.. I just don't answer and block them but today it was intense.
