The scammers send out fake Yahoo Deactivation Request emails like the one below and ask potential victims to call the fake technical support number to cancel the deactivation request. But, Yahoo is not deactivating email accounts and telephone number 1-877-353-6383 is not owned or operated by Yahoo. Therefore, if you get a Yahoo Deactivation email like the one below, please do not follow the instructions in it and do not call the telephone number in it.
