She paid $99 for the item and became suspicious when she got “unusual” emails with 2 different names. When she hadn’t received it after over a week, she sent an email asking where it was. She called today with the phone number on the site. It wasn’t connected, giving her a recording indicating that the entire site was fraudulent. She immediately recruited me for help, since she’s nearly blind. It’s late today but will have to contact the bank earlier tomorrow. It is really sad that there is an abundance of this type of crime to unsuspecting people. These people should be punished, but are impossible to locate and prosecute for the most part.
