Scammers are calling from 01786289070 and pretending to be "Police Scotland," asking potential victims to press 1 or 2. The scammers will claim that the recipients' Amazon accounts have been hacked and a £1,499.99 purchase has been made on their card. They may also claim that an iPhone worth £1000 will be charged to their potential victims' Prime subscription, or their Amazon accounts have been suspended for suspicious activities.

If you receive an automated telephone call from 01786289070 or from a telephone number identified as "Police Scotland" by your caller id, regarding your Amazon account, just hang up or do not call back the number.
