Scammers are using fake Walmart giveaway text messages below and the website "w8fmv info" to steal personal and financial information. The scammers create a fake text message with a link to "w8Fmv info" and send it to potential victims. The scammers hope their potential victims will take the bait and click the link in it, which goes to fake websites that will claim the visitors have won free gifts and other prizes. The fake websites will then ask visitors to submit personal and personal information in order to receive their so-called free gifts or prizes. But, if the requested information is submitted to the scammers, it will be stolen and used fraudulently.

My wife just got one using the link /- fjlvk.com this is so crazy for those people to get our phone numbers and then from 1 it goes to many, many callers and texts.
I have received 2 text messages saying that I am 1 of the five lucky Walmart winners. Click on the link to claim my prize.
I got one from huberjenny02-gmail.com saying I need to put in my info and that I won along w 9 others in their weekly drawing. And the prize was an iPhone 12.

Mine was very similar, except I took '3rd place' and link was upm.claims/UuOZIt's so sad that there are people out there running these scams. Worse is someone actually believing them.
I got one of these in an e-mail. Said I am a winner and delivery fees may apply. I have to confirm my address for proper delivery.
I received this same text message. Knew it was a scam because in mine they spelt Walmart mart with 2 ll’s. Wallmart. Was a dead give away
