I got a call from 01904688550. The telephone number came up as York County Court, but it seems the number has been spoofed. I answered the call and got an automated message saying that my National Insurance(NI) Number is being cancelled and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. Once I did that, I was told by the so-called officer to transfer Bitcoins to a digital wallet. That is how I knew it is a scam.

Received automated call from this number, telling me my National Insurance No had been compromised, and to press 1 to speak to an officer. Didn’t bother. Must be a scam.
2 or 3 calls received from this number. I have ignored them. Comes up on my phone as York County Court.
I received a call today 21st October at 12:10. When I answered the call, it went to automated message, saying my NI issue was going to court and I will be prosecuted unless I press 1 to speak to somone. At that point I knew it was a scam. Blocked the number.
I received a call yesterday from them. It was again an automated message, this time from amazon saying I had to pay them for goods I had ordered. I hung up!
Received a call today from number, it does come up from York County Court which is a little disconcerting, however the automated message is so bad it just reeks of scam. I work for DWP and we would never ring using an automated threatening message like that. Neither would HMRC or any department I can think of.
Scammer everywhere, they should be ashamed of themselves. Robbing people of their money .Karma will come to them when it happens to them or their family...
I had a call from this number this morning and it also came up as York County Court. As soon as I heard the automated message I hung up the phone. Def a scam.
I had a missed call and a voicemail saying there had been unusual transaction of a sum of £1000 so my account was being frozen. To unfeeeze I needed to phone back and follow instructions

Saw a missed call from York County Court and headed to Google. I didnt even have to type in all words as it's obviously been searched so much lately!
I had a scam call from York County Court while on my phone with my husband turns out it was a recorded message from Amazon . Naturally I hung up
