The telephone number 8337279955 appears to be used by scammers. Potential victims have received calls where the callers claim they are with the Internal Revenue Service calling about their tax filings and going into collections.

I am getting multiple calls daily with VM. States his name is Brian Lopez. Tells me to call 833-727-9955. I’ve blocked multiple numbers and am still getting calls.

Report phone scams, impersonation, or threats at 800-366-4484 or tigta.gov.

Use the IRS "Report Fraud" feature to report scams or phishing.

FTC: File a complaint at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

Scam!!!! Unfortunately they will keep calling over and over and over from different numbers. some clown leaves a messag...Notsounding remotely legit other than some omin ous collection wording. the irs doesnt operate this way...Dont bother callin g the 833 number...Sounds like they are based in india...Phillipines or who knows? its not not worry about its just flippin g aggravating and is harrassment. Ask to be remo ved and good luck!

Same they left voice mail stating that we own the IRS it is big a scam be careful from this. They called from this number 1(502)879-8164.

But on voicemail they left a message to reach them -(833)727-9955

I am getting between 5 to 10 calls a day using various numbers but always leaving the same email claiming that I owe IRS taxed at. When I called them back the man was literally yelling at me and cussed at me and hung up on me because I told him I was going to turn him in
