The Avast Security LLC scam messages below, which claim recipients sent a payment and if the transaction is unauthorized, they should call the fake PayPal customer support telephones 44-808-196-4257 or 1-888-991-1224, is being sent by scammers. The aim of the scammers is to trick potential victims into calling them at the fake PayPal customer support telephone number. If contacted, the scammers will attempt to trick potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.

Be very careful of this scam. They truck you in to thinking that you are about to pay $550 and on the dumb note it says to call the fake Paypal. After talking to the real paypal I called the fake paypal number (blocked my number) and after a few rings, literally an Indian scammer picked up…No main menu with options, no wait time… just “thank you for calling Paypal support how may I help you”. I am so angry this is going on.
