Scamming - Fraud
The "Lowes Golf Cart" scam below, which claims potential victims have been chosen to participate in a so-called Loyalty Program for free, is being sent by scammers, not Lowe's. The aim of the scam is to trick potential victims into clicking the link or button in it that goes to a fake survey or phishing website that steals personal or financial information. It may also trick potential victims into visiting spam websites that trick them into buying unwanted goods or services.
If you have received the Lowes Golf Cart scam, please do not follow the instructions in it, just delete it. If you were tricked by the scam into disclosing your credit card information, please contact your bank for help.

Shame because I could use that golf cart!
Just received a Lowes Golf Car Winner Advertisement. My question is as follows: How do theses scammers know I shop at Lowes and they have my email? I did shop at Lowes in Hammond Louisiana. I am so upset and cannot trust anybody. Thanks,
