Scammers are sending scam texts from 8882761169 to potential victims, or asking them to call the same telephone number. Therefore, recipients of text messages from 888-276-1169 or text messages asking them to call the same telephone number, are asked not to follow the instructions in them. If you get a text message that appears to be from your bank, instead of following the instructions in it, contact your bank directly to verify the authenticity of the text.

I received the same message regarding locking a VISA card. Knew it had to be a scam.
Received a text @ 11:25 AM bank-mobile-alert-84 (Call: 8882761169 Now-847#) VISA-Card-temporarily-locked-ID:Bj8cYzQ.I knew it must of been a scam. None of my credit cards send a notification without identifying which company sent it, and they always send a email at the same time.
Got the text, you think with all the technology out there, they could get caught? Is there anyone doing something about these callers?
Received a message saying my Visa card was temporarily locked. So irritating.
Text saying my card was temporarily locked (without indicating what card). Wrote # down to check for scam before deleting the text.
They must be busy today. Got the same message about my card being locked and asked to call the same number.
I got this text today saying one of my cards was locked. I called it, gave them all my bank info as instructed. They looked at my account, felt bad for me, added some money for me. Thanks Scammers! Joking, I deleted and ignored the text.
I have got 2 texts from this number. SCAM!
Also just recently received a text saying my credit/debit card is locked and to call the 888 number provided.
I received a mobile alert saying my credit card has been locked, please call 8882761169. I did not call this # or follow any links in the text. I went directly to my bank web site and confirmed with them that my card was not locked and there were no issues with it.
