Costco Text Scam Survey Message with Gift and Bonus Payment Offers

If you receive a survey text message like the one below, which appears to be from Costco, claiming you have an exclusive gift or bonus and asking you to fill out a survey in order to receive it, is a scam. The fake text message is being sent by scammers attempting to trick their potential victims into visiting a phishing website that steals personal or financial information.

The scammers may also send an e-mail claiming you are Costco's "winner of the month" and ask you to complete a survey in order to receive your so-called big prize on completion.
