The aim of the scammers is to steal account credentials, personal and financial information from their victims, which they will use fraudulently. If you were tricked into calling the scammers and gave them your account credentials or credit card information, please contact PayPal immediately. Over the years, I have seen hundreds of area code 844 scams. Therefore, if you receive a text or call from an 844 area code telephone number, please be cautious
