Scamming - Fraud
Senior Aid Helper calls me multiple times per week. They call from local phone numbers. I keep blocking them and they just call from a different number. Last Friday, they called and all I said was, "remove me from your call list." Then they hung up. I blocked the number. Then I called that number back.
I received the same recording of, "This is so and so with Legal Aid Helper. Can you hear me ok?" I said, "Remove me from your call list."
Then I received a response that I can only describe as creepy and sinister. They responded with a resounding, "NO!" Which seemed to echo and reverberate. Then, a recorded laughing started. It was a "ha, ha, ha, ha..... Ha, ha, ha, ha... Ha, ha, ha, ha..." It carried on for a while. I said, I am recording this call. And then they hung up.
These scammers need to be stopped. How can I make these calls stop?

Keep getting phone calls from these people I would block and request to discontinue and they would call back using another number!
This is the last # they called me from today: 1 802-215-4719One time they hung up on me because I didn't have a timeshare. I used to get several automated calls from Conway, NH from various phone #s, maybe fax lines. I'm not sure if that was the same people though. Today, I told her that I was a victim of the "1/3 Reduction Act" when she said that I could qualify up to $2,600 which is about 4 mos of my current DISABILITY income at almost 60 yrs old.
I actually called this number back after getting many calls, just to see what was up. When they answered they asked me if I am calling because they called me. When I said yes, they started talking to me about a timeshare. I immediately told them I do not have a timeshare and she just kept talking over me and then hung up on me. I have blocked the number every time they call, sometimes 3 times a day, and the call keep coming
I am getting the same calls from Senior aid helper and it is so often that it is driving me crazy! I keep blocking them. Once I got through to someone and threatened to report them and, well, they do not care! UGH! I wish I could make it stop! I keep blocking numbers but they call through a new one every time! I am even on the no call list, which is USELESS!
How can I sue them
I got 3 calls from "Senior Aid Helper" today, April 6. One of the calls came from Algonquin, IL and the other from Palatine, IL. The majority of the calls I've received were listed as from Palatine or Skokie, IL. And the caller for most of these calls is someone named Colton and he sounds almost like Forrest Gump in the way he talks.
My scammers always say this is so & so ON A RECORDED LINE. Giving u a real false sense of security..I block # and another # calls..
Now they are calling me saying they can help with a home repair I have been looking up.
This is exactly what has been happening to me. I am so sick and tired of those calls. I get them sometimes multiple times a day.
The SENIOR AIDE HELPER called me yesterday about my timeshare then hung up on me after I told I didn't have one. Last year, a woman from Conway, NH would call me all the time from different numbers. When I would try to call them back, it wasn't a working #. I can't even remember what she was selling. Last couple of weeks, getting messages from the Michigan State Lottery from someone named Leach saying someone gave up their winnings to 3 different people's phone #s. I reported them to the Michigan State Lottery Commission.
