It appears scammers are sending text message scams to potential from 8055160456 or asking potential victims to call the same telephone number. Therefore, recipients of text messages from 805-516-0456 or messages asking them to call the same telephone number, are asked not to do until they are verified.

Content of text message: "(CALL-Urgently to our Costumer Services: 8055160456) EBT-CARD is currently Locked! Txt.ID for: 912xxxxxxx"Rcvd from: SNAP-Food-Stamp-4605056@proroofsystems.comThis number is answered by an automated system, which apparently knows how to identify a valid EBT card number.
Same-EBT card alert
Mine on 4/4/23, was saying to call because my EBT account was locked! I don't even have EBT!
Just received text from this number. Said my EBT-SNAP account has been lock and call for I'd to have it unlocked.I don't even have EBT, and never have.
I keep receiving this same message and I do not and never have received food stamps/ snap benefits.
Received text saying EBT-Card is currently locked. All credit cards are showing normal, however. Assume this scam.
Got a text from (bt-snap-food-4362) stating to call immediately the customer service line at 8055160456). Text said my "EBT-Card is currently locked! and they listed my cell number.I have gotten this same text a few times and NEVER respond. TOTAL SCAM! Do not call this number. I have even blocked the number before and get the same text a month or so later from different number!SCAM SCAM SCAM
Just received same message regarding EBT card locked. I’ve never had one, so I knew not to call. So if you do have an EBT card and this message comes to your phone just ignore it. Scam.
I RECEIVED SAME AS ABOVE THAT MY EBT CARD IS LOCKED AND I NEED TO CALL THIS NUMBER 805 516 0456, THEN OF COURSE IT GIVES MY NUMBER ALSO I FELL FOR IT THE FIRST TIME AND THEY GOT ALL MY MONEY OFF MY EBT BY CALLING WALLMART AND ORDERING FOOD. I CALLED FRAUD AND REPORTED TO OHIO FOOD CARD, THEN I HAD TO GO TO POLICE STATION WHERETHEY TOOK PICTURE OFF OF MY PHONE OF TEXT. I HAD TO FILL OUT FRAUD REPORT. SO, NOW AGAIN I GOT THIS 2CD TEXT BUT, OF COURSR DIDN'T ANSWER.

I GET THEM ALL THE TIME, THEY SAY CALL THIS NUMBER..your ebt-card is locked - don't know what a ebt card is but it says text ID for and then it gives my phone number.
