Scamming - Fraud
The BofA scam text(see below), which claims a transaction was declined and asks recipients to confirm by replying to 1-866-493-7673, is being sent by cybercriminals. The fake Bank of America Fraud Department phone number in the text message seems to be associated with call centers operated by scammers pretending to be from BofA.

If you have received the scam text message, please do not call 866 493 7673. Instead, contact your bank by using the number on the back of your card or visit your bank's website and contact them directly. Please do not call a telephone number from a suspicious call or text because it may be a scammer pretending to be from your bank.
