855-768-8331 Scam Call - How to Protect Yourself

I get this call from 855-768-8331 from Lilia Castillo. Saying my file has been flagged for IRS for non file or payments due. I keep blocking and reporting scam but they keep calling me

I keep getting the same calls. I block them and it doesn’t stop. How do you get it to stop?! My phone lives on DND because of them. I am on the do not call registry too. Please help.

855-768-8331 - I blocked them but they keep calling me about taxes. I found out they are a problem fraud

I continue get harassing phone calls by Brain Lopez Special Resolution Unit which I never phoned or requested no such phone call by this person brings up lies says that I found on file things I owe call me back help me with this then lies says red flags so it doesn't lead to collection agency.

I never say in your office or had signed nothing I not ever fully aware of no such on file with you in office of whatever red flags there are then if call I be connected not yo you but a Tax Officer look buddie I dunno who h**l you our but I never called you ever pr requested no phone calls from you or office

HI getting same messages from Brian Lopez Liliana telling me collections is coming. Have not paid taxes since I am a senior and don’t work. 3 messages today from these scammers. Never return call. Informed donor call and FBi

Been receiving several calls a day from this number, with the same messages everyone else has mentioned. By the same name even.

I started getting these calls about 6-8 wks ago & my 1st thought, FAKE AF! 1st, I know I don’t owe money to the IRS & 2nd, I for sure know that the IRS doesn’t call you! If u owe them anything, they’ll send u a letter almost 3 yrs later so it racks up interest so u have to pay even more. I know from experience bcuz when I bought my house, I got $ back per the law & IRS, so did everyone else who bought 1 of these houses, but almost 3 yrs later, I got a letter saying they wanted it back & I had to pay for all of the interest bcuz they didn’t notify me until then. All bs! Anyways, these calls are a joke. Sometimes the same person called from 6 different parts of the country telling me to call back asap, before it moves into collections, & they’ll be here to help me from 9-5.

No one is going to reach out to u from “tax resolution!” Don’t even answer their calls! I never do! They are hoping that you answer or call back bcuz then they know they can f*ck with u even more bcuz u’ve shown ur number is active. Just ignore them! I still get them daily, maybe 2x/day, but it used to be 5-6x/day. Not once have I answered & not once have I called their 855 & 833 #’s or the ones they are calling from. Don’t let them get you or anyone you care about! They are worthless trash that need to find an honest way to make money!

Same here. I called them back and they said they’ll remove my number but I get calls again the next day. They scare you by saying it’s due to a tax matter that may be sent to collections. I don’t owe any back taxes.

Do not call them. This is how they confirmed they have a potential victim, and they will continue to call you hoping they can scam you.

Same here. It looks like their tactics have changed a little bit. They want to help us before our file goes collections. Looks like a lot of people aren't falling for their scam and they're looking for new ways to get money. Watch out! Do not call! I am in FL.

I’m now getting calls from 855-768-8331 that says to call her back at that number with no name or company information.

Every day for 2 months from different numbers with the same message. Today the message stated I was about to go to collections for a tax matter.
That's not how taxes work, BTW
