Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
DPD Text Message Number

Legitimate DPD text messages, particularly in Europe, can originate from +49 177 1787807 or appear under the sender name "DPD" with a 14-digit tracking number. However, scammers often pose as DPD; report suspicious texts by forwarding them to 7726. Genuine messages will not ask for payment to redeliver a parcel.

Verified Official Numbers

  • United Kingdom: Legitimate delivery texts will usually show DPD or DPD Local as the sender ID.
  • WhatsApp: You can contact DPD directly through the WhatsApp link on the DPD Contact Us page.
  • Germany: Official SMS are sent exclusively from +49 177 1787807.
  • Argentina: Official notifications come from 84722, and the official phone is 5491168041803.

Verify a DPD Text

  • Parcel Number: Official messages include a 14-digit tracking number that you can verify on the DPD tracking website
  • No Payment Requests: DPD will never ask for payment (like a "redelivery fee") via a text link. Any required customs or VAT payments are handled through official, secure portals.
  • App Notifications: The safest way to track is through the official DPD app, which provides real-time updates and driver tracking.
