Infomedics Scam Emails - Protect Yourself

Beware of widespread phishing emails using the Infomedics name to demand fake "outstanding" healthcare payments (often €115–€158) via urgent, malicious links. Real Infomedics emails do not contain direct iDEAL payment links or attachments. Verify all bills at the official Infomedics portal.

Recognizing a Scam

  • Urgent Payment Demands: Phishing emails create pressure to pay quickly for "outstanding" claims.
  • Fake Links/Attachments: Fraudsters use buttons leading to fake payment environments.
  • Missing Personal Info: Real emails from rekening@infomedics.nl use your surname.
  • Incorrect Reference: Valid bills have a 14-digit payment reference ending in 071.

Received a Suspicious Email

  • Do not click on any links or open attachments.
  • Check the bill directly via the Infomedics check page.
  • Report the suspicious email to Infomedics at internetfraude@infomedics.nl.
  • If you paid, contact your bank immediately, change passwords, and report it to the police.

Common Fraud Phrases

Emails often use subjects like "Openstaande vordering – Infomedics" (Outstanding claim - Infomedics) and threaten further collection costs if not paid within 7 days.
