I received a message about upgrading my storage or I could lose everything. It was from Total Drive and it was for $1.99. I am not really that familiar with this stuff but I didn’t want to lose my photos and all. It really made it sounded like I had to have it. So for $1.99 I did it. But then It was actually $1.99 twice a month and I just discovered they changed it to $9.99 twice a month. I would never have agreed to that. I feel totally scammed and am requesting a refund and cancelation.

While Total Drive is an actual, operational cloud storage service, its parent company (Total Security) employs highly deceptive, aggressive marketing and billing practices that have led thousands of users to label it a scam.Additionally, separate cybercriminals frequently use the Total Drive brand name to orchestrate phishing campaigns.The Deceptive "Storage Full" Phishing Campaign is the most common way people encounter Total Drive. Scammers use alarming and fraudulent messages.You receive a panic-inducing text message, email, or browser pop-up warning that "Your iCloud storage is full", "Your device is at risk of losing all data", or "Your Google Drive/OneDrive is over its limit".The messages deliberately impersonate Apple iCloud or Google. If you click the link out of panic, it redirects you to an aggressive affiliate page or an authorized checkout funnel selling Total Drive subscriptions.Cybercriminals also use fake Total Drive emails to steal credit card numbers directly or to compromise user account passwords.
I got charged $9.99 via PayPal which I was not aware of because I pay $2.99 a month. What is this for?
I was just duped into this product when I saved a file on my phone. It said they were unable to process my iCloud auto renewal until I updated my payment information. it seemed totally legit—I have an auto renewal on my iCloud storage. Moments after I unfortunately gave them access to my iPay, I got an email thanking me for purchasing Total Drive. I tried to get to the cancellation link but they wanted more personal information to access it. What a nightmare
