Why It's a Scam

Fake Components: Teardowns of these devices often reveal they are completely hollow or contain only the bare minimum circuitry to power a glowing LED light. Some contain nothing but a small capacitor or are filled with sand to give them weight.
The "Power Factor" Myth: Scammers often use legitimate-sounding electrical jargon like "Power Factor Correction". While this concept is real and lowers energy costs for large industrial and commercial facilities, it does absolutely nothing for typical residential utility meters or household electricity bills.
Misleading Marketing: Ads for these products often rely on stolen video clips, deepfakes of public figures (such as Elon Musk), or aggressive AI-generated warnings telling you that modern smart meters are overcharging you.
