The Facebook post below: "[Video Shock] What Happens in Vegas Elevators (18)," is a survey and Facebook 'like/share’ scam. This scam will trick you into 'liking', sharing and completing surveys, which the cyber-criminals behind it will benefit from. If you are asked to 'like/share', complete surveys, or download software in order to watch a video, it is a scam.

Clicking on the Facebook post will take you to the malicious website below:

  • http://nbcnews-now.org/lasvegas/

This website will ask you to complete surveys in order to watch the video. But, this is a trick to get you to complete the surveys that the cybercriminals behind this scam will get paid for or to spread this scam to your Facebook friends.

The cybercriminals will change the name of the website, so look out for similar scams using different website names or addresses.

If this post appears on your Facebook Wall/Timeline, please report it to Facebook and remove it.

Although, the Facebook post below is a scam, there is actually a video, which you can search for. But, if you are asked to complete surveys, "share/like", or download software before you can watch the video, some cybercriminals are attempting to scam you, and you should leave the website without following any instruction on it. You should be able to watch the video without doing any of those things.
