Valentine's Day Giveaway Scam - "Get a Nordstrom $200 Gift Card" at "nordstrom.egiftcards. co"

The Facebook post and website below: "Get a Nordstrom $200 Gift Card," are a Facebook like-farming and survey scam. The scam will attempt to trick Facebook users into clicking on it by claiming that they can receive a $200 Gift Card at the website: "www.nordstrom.egiftcards. co" as part of Nordstrom Valentine's Day giveaway. But, the fake and fraudulent website has nothing to do with Nordstrom, and is only a scam to get Facebook users to comment on, "like", share the same deceptive website or fake post with their Facebook friends, and complete surveys. Nordstrom, Inc. is an American upscale fashion retailer, founded by John W. Nordstrom and Carl F. Wallin and headquartered in Seattle.

By liking,commenting on and sharing the scam, you are only helping to spread it to other Facebook users and making the scammers responsible for it, earn money. Scammers earn money when they make a page popular and are able to sell it to the highest bidder, along with the names and other public information of the persons who liked or shared the scam.

I guess, the last thing we want to do is to make these scammers rich by tricking you and others into liking and sharing a Facebook post or website. So, if you have already liked, commented on, or shared this scam, please unlike, remove your comment and 'unshare' it.

Also, they will ask you to complete surveys in order to receive your voucher. But, it doesn't matter how much surveys you complete, you will never receive any Nordstrom gift card or coupon. The scammers, on the other hand, will get paid for each competed survey. Click here for instructions on how to remove things you have already posted on Facebook.

Also, if the scam appears on your Facebook Timeline or Wall, please report it to Facebook and remove it.
