I have tried the website and it keeps charging my credit card, even though I have canceled my subscription before the trial period ended. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, games, software, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online users who have already subscribed to services on www.musicg8.com are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

The same thing has happened to me exactly as it has happened to you. I cancelled my card via the bank. Inconvenient to say the least, now trying to get my money back ... I hope these thieves/scammers get locked away for quite a few years.

Yes, this is definitely a scam. It promised a five-day free trial, then charged $49.95 US to my credit card, followed two days later by an exact same charge to another provider called ‘captplay.com’ for the same service that I knew nothing about. Don’t go anywhere near this service as no benefit was received whatsoever!

Open a dispute with your bank to have your money refunded. Then cancel your card and get a new one to prevent further unwanted charges.

Just happened to me. Signed up then couldn't find one movie I was interested in. I went to my bank's website and found they charged me twice, from two seperate companies! It was only $1.47 Australian. That's one US dollar at today's rates. Simples, I just cancelled my credit card.

Received an email from amazon said that I had won a tv. After confirming this I was then passed on to musicg8 and they asked for my bank details saying that I would not be charged anything unless I downloaded a film etc. I have since learned that this is a fraudulent website. Please advise. Many thanks
