951 Area Code Scam Calls - Have You Received One?

I also received a voice mail from 619 391-8810. They said a complaint had been filed against me. That I needed to call 951 277-6780 and rreference a case number. And that the message served as notification to me.

Same as previously mentioned this morning in San Marcos, Texas.

I received a voicemail from a cloned 210 San Antonio number and what sounded like a "Asian" person named "Casey" telling me she was following up for a document received in their office version "my last name" "for my case" number "x*x-xxxxx". Then a recording came on and stated that documents regarding my file are being prepared to be sent out and I will need to sign for the delivery. The issuing agent will dispatch confirmation. If they are unable to reach me at home, they will attempt my verified place of employment. In order to stop further actions from being taken I should contact the issuing agent immediately at 951-261-5547. The call has been logged and recorded as proof of efforts being made to notify me.

1/30/25 I received a call today from 945-303-6157 and the lady left a voicemail and said she was with Legal Courier services. She was asking for a last name that I have not used in 10 years. She said they have a pending summons and their field agents will be dispatched to my property address and place of employment. Failure to respond today will result in non-compliance and a failed action to serve. She also stated they will be doing a background check. I’m to call 951-261-6156. When she was calling it said scam likely.

Just got a call from 945-303-6147 on my cell and my work phone. Said I needed to call 951-261-5547, said it was a toll free number. I told him that is not a toll free number. He got upset and said it was. He said they had legal documents for me to discuss. I told him to just leave them at more door. If I need to sign for them just add "signature required" to the delivery. He said I need to talk to them before they send it. I told him people usually mail stuff, If we could just talk about it, you wouldn't need to mail anything. He gave me a weird code and said I have 30 seconds to call back and hung up.

Received a call from (951) 261-5547 on 1/28/25 asking to speak to my son (who doesn't live with me) about a "legal matter". He said he had some documents for my son and he was from a civil litigation firm called "Franklin Jones Morgan". I looked up the number online and it is a scam.

Hi! I received a similar call. How did you verify it was a scam? I'm still worried. Information about that specific number is sparse. This website, your comment and similar others here is all I could find. Thanks

I just recieved a call from 951-261-5547 but they used a nearby area code but it’s not even the county I live in. They used a name similar to mine saying the person had a lawsuit but she didn’t mention the firm and hung up on me promptly when I asked questions like “repeat what company you’re with”. Odd definitely lookout!

I see that exact number is listed above as a number as calling threatening legal action. Total SCAM.

SAME SAME! The voicemail was for my ex-husband that I divorced 20 years ago. Must be pulling names & numbers from an old hacked database.

I just received a call from 619-391-8810, although the phone number said to contact their office at 951-261-5547 with the exact information you stated

Just recieved a call from a 626-561-3362 number about a legal matter for my husband. The call back number was area code 951-261-5547 saying I need to call them to stop any further legal action. They didn't specify where they are from. No info on the 951 number but the 626 number has several different shady business names attached to it.

Exact same thing for me except it was for my ex-brother-in-law who I haven't seen in more than 15 years!

(951) 261-5547 received a call about some legal action but there is no information for this number online. SCAM!

I recieved a phone call from 951 260 2375 saying I owe Wells Fargo. I called Wells Fargo, I dont ..he he yelled said I belong in a hospital because I'm nuts; said he's taking me to court.

Somebody called me from 951 area cpde asking me for personal info and also had a funny voice wich instantly I knew he was someone from overseas,and I told him that I was busy in the hospital right now and "that person was insisting to much",it was another scam sign,so be aware from this scammers!!

claiming to be a contract company for remodeling (Tyler homebuilders/construction?) but when I call the numbers back, it is a disconnected signal

951 329-2015 someone will answer but I don't think they are legit

I got a call to WhatsApp from 951-598-0928. Fortunately, I missed all 3 attempts that came within 2 minutes.
Calls apparently came from Digital Video Syndicate whose specialty is claimed to be--- Video production, Branded video, Social media campaigns, and Influencer campaigns. Whether it's a scam or not, I have no idea, but I blocked the number anyway.

Total scam and they are targeting people in China too

Yes I did receive one today I'm assuming it's a scam because I don't know anyone in this state and they said they needed to talk scam

What kind of scam is this? Received text message that reads, “ USPS 01123456789123 Available for Pickup 8:55am GARY V e9frc.info/fSL6jLwl4uF Reply STOP to mute”

It appears to be a phishing scam. The page the link in the text message goes to has been taken down.
