Is dalimedia.net an Untrustworthy Online Media Streaming Website?

I went to type in my number for a free movie, but then it led me to a free 5-day trial. I exited the screen knowing I wasn’t going to accept a trial period and went about my way searching for a different way to watch movies for free on my Amazon Fire Stick. I went on my bank account today and noticed they took money out of my account even though I didn’t accept the terms. Pathetic. Canceling my card asap, so they don’t charge me anymore without my permission.

I have the same experience - have just had them blocked from my account and have my card blocked grrr

As an author who sells e-books on Amazon.com, imagine my surprise and dismay to type in a search for one of my book titles and finding it, cover and all, for sale on Dalimedia.net. This online site had never contacted me for permission to post it on their site, and certainly not to negotiate any sales contract. The money they have made for who goodness knows how long, has gone directly into their pockets and would have continued had not I saw their advert for my book on their site. I filed a copyright infringement alert through the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act). This international treaty criminalized the infringement of copyrighted materials sold for profit. it was IMMEDIATELY TAKEN DOWN, according to my DMCA response. And I can not see my book anymore on their site.
But what to do now? How much did they illegally make off my intellectual property with proof of their misdeed-a simple screenshot of my work on their website for sale? How long was it up selling? This type of scamming is presently in the favor of the scammer. There is so far no justice for these lowest of cowardly thieves. Writers BEWARE!
