"2019 CNN Award" Lottery Scam Being Sent by Scammers

There is no "2019 CNN Award" like the one below that is giving away thousands or millions of dollars. Therefore, recipients of the fake email messages below, which claim the recipients are lucky winners of the 2019 CNN Award, is a lottery scam. Please do not respond to the email message with your personal information, because the email message was sent by lottery scammers. Every month, thousands of these email messages are sent out by scammers to trick their potential victims into stealing their personal information and sending money. Remember, never send your personal information to anyone in an email message or send money to someone who contacted you via email message claiming you are a lottery winner.

    I received a similar message in a text telling me: " You Won $500,000 in CNN AWARD, send Ref No: CNNA59 to cnn463@email.com" No typos the email address is as written. Came from martinez6016@roadrunner.com
