The fake number is being used by cybercriminals to trick potential victims into giving the cybercriminals access to their computers. The fake message claims unusual activities were detected on the potential victims' computer and asks them to contact the fake technical support numbers.

If the fake technical support telephone number is called, the cybercriminals on the other end will pretend to be a technical support representative from Microsoft.
