Scamming - Fraud
I just received a bill from Web Host Agents telling us to pay $180.00. It definitely looks like a bill rather than solicited mail asking for our business. A quick glance at it by our AP department and it was placed in our to-be-paid invoices stack. But, thank goodness I looked at it and stopped them from cutting a check! Our website provider is Go Daddy, so I knew we have no affiliation with this company. The way they are doing this is very shady and these types of letters should stop being sent to businesses.

Not only did they send a fake invoice, but the followed up with a robo-call referencing the (fake) invoice (thought unsure if they called it an invoice or not).
Same here and our Domain is good until 2022, this company needs to be exposed and shut down. Sadly folks will fall for this and they will pay these crooks.. I called and they shoot you to a message saying if you received a mailer " this is NOT an invoice" but no place on the doc does it say it as seen in the scan above I got the same letter. Companies like this need to be fined for misleading others.. I despise people that do this1
I received one of these today. Thank you for posting this. My actual hosting service has an odd name that starts with a "W". However, when they invoice my company, they send an email, not a paper invoice.
