Scammers are contacting potential victims and asking them to call telephone number 02081268875. The scammers pretend to be from the HMRC and claim the persons they are calling are being investigated for tax evasion or avoidance. But, this is not true and the scammers' aim is to steal their potential victims' personal and financial information. Obvious phishing scam. Caller leaves message saying to call the number or you might be arrested for suspicion of tax fraud. What I do not understand is why the authorities cannot shut down these phone numbers immediately.
