I have also received an identical message today, absolutely disgusted with this repeated scam SMS/emails, people are becoming so unethical.

"Hermes: Hi, we have missed your delivery today, please visit https://redelivery-mypackage-fees.com to book a redelivery and pay the surcharge of 1.45 (GBP)

Just delete the message and block this number.

have just received one from Hermes? I'm sure that the large companies are fully aware of these scams, so why don't they withdraw there numbers, then if every company in the telephone business, made a concerted effort, this could be done, or, are they just happy to have the scammers custom, even if they are, acting illegally, as scammers.

These low life characters, are abusing the elderly and vulnerable.

I feel that they should also, when supplying a service, also take on the responsible as to who they allow.

These people, who make nuisance calls, or any other type of calls, should be monitored, and shut down, or in the case of Plusnet, send it to their scammers box.

  • June 15, 2021 at 12:31 PM by an anonymous user from: Sheffield, England, United Kingdom

Simply forward the text, or any other similar scams to 7726.

    It's free.

Your phone company will reply and ask for the telephone number that sent the text. Not much help when they are all spoofed, but somebody will start taking down the fake website.

That's the best way to stop others getting ripped off.

    redeliver-missedparcel-fees.co.uk Yeah, right!

I was waiting for a Hermes delivery today and received this text! Thought it was strange why they were asking for my birth date anyway decided it was dodgy and checked online

  • June 10, 2021 at 5:26 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

I am expecting Hermes delivery and they usually email first. This morning got a text message they had tried to deliver and asked me to rebook at £1.45 fee. They asked my birth date which I gave and then asked for bank details, account number and sort code. Now I got suspicious and googled if they asked this and it brought me here. Those dirty rats trying to rob people. A curse on them.

    • June 11, 2021 at 10:51 AM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

The exact same thing has just happened to me. I am expecting a delivery and I clicked the link and put in my name, first line of address and date of birth. Then it went on to ask for my bank details which is when I got suspicious and googled about it and found this website thank goodness. I'm worried that they'll be able to do something with the information I already gave them though.

Redirects to a very genuine looking Hermes website and it doesn’t look like it has been written by a 4 year old for a change so more vulnerable people could fall for it quite easily.

I was expecting a couple of parcels at that time but It wasn't until afterwards thatI questioned which companies were delivering them. Neither were hermes.

  • April 15, 2021 at 12:02 PM by an anonymous user from: Rochdale, England, United Kingdom

Does anyone know how to report this so they can be stopped? Thanks!

  • April 14, 2021 at 7:45 AM by an anonymous user from: Greater Manchester, Manchester, England, United Kingdom

Had one of these txt messages yesterday and another today. Thought the first was dodgy but getting a second made me wonder. They came from 2 different mobile numbers, I thought it could just be two different drivers.

The link quoted was slightly different on each, "redeliverparcel" on one and "parcelreschedule" on the other.

I went to one of the links which asked for ID and I put in old address details. The second page didn't say anything about not having anything to deliver for that address but asked for £1.45, which I didn't pay. It actually said "£1.45 (£1.04 VAT)". Doh! £1.04 20% VAT is £1.25.

  • April 13, 2021 at 2:52 PM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

Hmm I also received one of these today. I did not click on the link but I did reply saying 'addressed to who? What delivery address?' needless to say there was no reply but I didn't know that it could cost me a lot to send to that number :-(

  • April 13, 2021 at 11:08 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

Just had one of these myself, knew it was a scam straight away. Word of advice don't reply to the message as there could be a hefty charge to send to that number

  • April 13, 2021 at 6:51 AM by an anonymous user from: Donnington, Newbury, England, United Kingdom

    • April 14, 2021 at 10:42 AM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

I did fall too... I was rushing and didn't think about it. I did cancel my card 10 minutes after, and I can see that fortunately no money was taken from my account

    • May 21, 2021 at 11:48 AM by an anonymous user from: Mill Hill, London, England, United Kingdom

Did they take anything from your account? My partner took his own life on 8th May and I was expecting a delivery of my daughter's dress for the funeral. I got a knock at the door by the time I'd sorted the dogs they had gone. I got the hermes message not long ago and tried to enter the details but it wanted card number, ccv AND account number with sort code. I entered card number and clicked submit but it wouldn't accept it without the acc. No. and sort code. Should I still be worried?

  • April 4, 2021 at 7:16 AM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

I got one of these myself yesterday but wasn't sure it was genuine. The worst thing was, I couldn't even get help on the website chat because I was only given the option to give my tracking number (even though I haven't sent anything), there was no general chat help. I did call the number and left a voicemail that I've missed a delivery, when I tried calling again, it said the number was not recognised. I wonder if the scammers blocked my number and that's why? I even sent a text message, "you have just tried to scam a police officer." Lol. No response.

  • April 4, 2021 at 7:16 AM by an anonymous user from: South Gyle, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom

I had the same message from hermes, but the website was different. It was parcel-redelivery-fee.com

I am awaiting a parcel but not from hermes though.

  • April 3, 2021 at 3:03 PM by an anonymous user from: Greater Manchester, Irlam, England, United Kingdom

just got one of these texts my self

    hermes-reshipping-dot-com

  • April 3, 2021 at 2:21 PM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

I just received this exact message.

As I've had many Hermes deliveries and never been charged for rescheduling a delivery, I knew straight away this was phishing.

I'm very upset to think that if someone was genuinely wanting a delivery, they would do this to get things moving.

Thankfully, I have been in all day and am not waiting on a delivery from anyone anywhere right now, so this was really obvious to me.

Best to err on the safe side, never follow a link for something like this and contact Hermes directly (or any other delivery service), if you have queries.

  • April 3, 2021 at 12:01 PM by an anonymous user from: Berkshire, Reading, England, United Kingdom

Just received a similar txt from 07508 579323

Hermes: Your package has a £1.45 shipping fee,to pay this now visit https://hermes-reshipping.com.Failure will result in your parcel being returned to sender

fortunately my phone picked it up as suspected spam as I do actually have a package in transit with Hermes

  • April 3, 2021 at 10:46 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

I just received a similar message at the same time as I had 2 parcels delivered so started filling in my details then realised none of my parcels are being shipped by hermes and checked my emails. I then also realised that the text didn't say Hermes at the top but was a random mobile number so almost fell for this but stopped myself. They caught me at a bad time and I am usually aware of scams but it is so easy to fall for them.

That's the exact same message that I've had sent to me today, twice in the space of 2 minutes from 2 different numbers. Apart from the fact that I'm not expecting any parcels, how can you pay a fee for a parcel without a shipping number? All genuine contacts would include the parcel number at the very least.
