Royal Mail Scam Warning - Shipping Support Pay Package Fee

I received the Royal Mail scam warning text message below. The warning text is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick recipients into clicking on the link in it. The link goes to a fake or phishing Royal Mail website that steals personal and credit card information. Therefore, recipients are asked not to follow the instructions in it.

Royal Mail: Your package has a £2.99 shipping fee, to pay this now visit https://royalmail-shipping.support. Actions will be taken if you do not pay this fee.

Thank you for the warning. I received exactly the same text message this evening (7 March). I was suspicious so did a search - and found this. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK if you have received such a text. Delete the message, ban the mobile number which sent it and report it to your mobile provider.
