The suspicious Acorns scam email below, which claims the recipients' Acorns email account has been locked and they need to unlock it by calling Acorns customer service number at 866-221-3560, was sent in error. Acorns have sent the customer support email below explaining the error and have posted this message on Twitter: "if you recently received an email regarding your account lock, the email that received was sent in error, and your Acorns account is secure and should not be locked."
