York County Court 01904688550 Scam RoboCalls

Received automated call from this number, telling me my National Insurance No had been compromised, and to press 1 to speak to an officer. Didn’t bother. Must be a scam.

2 or 3 calls received from this number. I have ignored them. Comes up on my phone as York County Court.

I received a call today 21st October at 12:10. When I answered the call, it went to automated message, saying my NI issue was going to court and I will be prosecuted unless I press 1 to speak to somone. At that point I knew it was a scam. Blocked the number.

I received a call yesterday from them. It was again an automated message, this time from amazon saying I had to pay them for goods I had ordered. I hung up!

Received a call today from number, it does come up from York County Court which is a little disconcerting, however the automated message is so bad it just reeks of scam. I work for DWP and we would never ring using an automated threatening message like that. Neither would HMRC or any department I can think of.

Scammer everywhere, they should be ashamed of themselves. Robbing people of their money .Karma will come to them when it happens to them or their family...

I had a call from this number this morning and it also came up as York County Court. As soon as I heard the automated message I hung up the phone. Def a scam.

I had a missed call and a voicemail saying there had been unusual transaction of a sum of £1000 so my account was being frozen. To unfeeeze I needed to phone back and follow instructions

I had a scam call from York County Court while on my phone with my husband turns out it was a recorded message from Amazon . Naturally I hung up

Yes I had the same call I let it ring out then rang it back there is a message on now stating it is a scam using York county court do not send any money and report it.

Just received a call from this number. Googled the number, came up as York County Court Services. I didn't answer the call. Instead a voice mail came through. When I listened to it it was an automated message from Amazon, to say they have noticed fraudulent activity on my account of £99 and to press one to confirm whether this was a genuine purchase. Message deleted.

I had a call this morning which showed up York County. It was a voice message from Amazon.com about the fraudulent order that has been cancelled. I already received an email about this fraudulent activity.

Got a call from this number with an automated message supposedly from Amazon. SCAM.

I had a call from them she said someone is trying to use my amazon to buy iPhone should I allow it or cancel it? I said it wasn't me, the funny thing is she gave me the address where the order is made to?

I have also received this scam call.
The people who make these calls need to be caught and severely fined as well as being locked up for fraud in trying to obtain money illegally.
if it sounds dodgy, then it is dodgy.

I’ve just had a call from this number, left it to go to voice mail. It said there was fraudulent activity on my amazon account. Another scam

Had a call from this number saying York Court at around 10am Saturday UK time. Let it go yo voicemail figured if it was important they would leave a message ad I have never been to York, know anyone from York or live anywhere near York. A voice mail was left by an automated message saying there had been fraudulent activity on my account and to press 1. Given that this was an automated message, didn't say what account, and the fact the courts were closed on a Saturday I wasn't getting a good feeling about this. Googled the number and came across similar instances from other people so blocked the number and deleted the message.

Received a call from York County Court at 9:35 UK Time. I do not live in or anywhere near York, nor have I ever visited there.
So I let it go to voicemail, figuring if it was important they would leave a message. They did not & upon googling I came across this page.
So guessing definitely a scam. Will be blocking the number.

I received a call from the York County Court on Wednesdays 29 September 2021 at 15:34 (UK time).
I answered and the recorded voice mentioned HMRC. As a student, I currently have nothing to do with HMRC, so I hanged up.
I called back today Monday 4 October 2021 to get clarification, and the automated voice of the Court confirmed that it probably was a scam call and that they're aware of what's happening.

If you ever receive this call, do not give any of you personal information.
