The Kroll Settlement Administration T-Mobile text message is not a scam. The text message is legit and it is sent to people whose information was compromised in the 2021 Mobile Data Breach. The text should have a link to t-mobilesettlement.com, which is authorized by the Court, supervised by Counsel and controlled by Kroll Settlement Administration, the Settlement Administrator approved by the Court, and is the only authorized website for the T-Mobile Data Breach Settlement case.

Kroll Settlement Administration is a legitimate firm handling major class actions (e.g., AT&T, 23andMe, BlockFi), but scammers impersonate them via phishing emails with fake links to steal data. Verify the sender domain (e.g., ra.kroll.com) and use official, court-approved websites to file claims, never clicking links directly in emails.
If the text did not come from the number published by T-Mobile for this settlement, then it's a scam. They're trying to use a legit settlement to scam people into giving away their personal information. In short:. Do not follow the link in the text message unless it's from a verified source!!!

Scammers maybe attempting to take advantage of the settlement, therefore, the safest thing to if you have received a text is to go directly to t-mobilesettlement.com
