Scammers are sending the Local Depot 27 scam text below with a link to the phishing website local-depot27.com. The phishing website purports to be the UK Post Office and claims there was an attempt to deliver a parcel but no one was in. It then requests a fee for the re-delivery and requests your credit card details and security code. But, if the requested information is sent, it will be used fraudulently.

I had exactly the same message today 13.1.23 with the same wrong spelling of schedule, from a different phone number. I was at home and knew nobody came. It's a fairly obvious scam because the name of the delivery company is not given.
I received the following message this morning 09.01.2023From 44 7738 697558Our driver Simon attempted to deliver your shipment today but no one was home. To reshedule a new delivery date, visit: https://my-local-depot-uk.com
I also received the same message from 447596191984on 11 january 2023 at 12;27 pm I think it's a scam.

I got the text a Jamie tried to deliver a parcel was so close to entering my bank details
I was told that as I had already entered my name, address and date of birth before I realised it was a scam I could still have a problem as my details could be used for buy now pay later items. I have reported this to Action Fraud. They were very helpful

I received the same text today and it just happened that I was expecting a parcel that hadn’t arrived I filled in my name and address and phone No: then it requested bank details at this point I realised it was a scam so disconnected

I filled my details in as Mr Donald Duck 6 leicester road groby and email address donaldduck-mgm.co.uk filled in fake card details pressed continue and the details were accepted so Mr Duck won’t be to happy when he doesn’t receive his parcel.

Well, I'm waiting for something very important post to receive recently and I receive a text to reschedule the delivery for Friday and come from where I work to where I used to live in the past and waiting 8 am to 12:30 but nothing there! Well, I try to call the post office to find out but no one answered, finally I decided to search the website and it says scams!Guys, they're very stupid and stupid imagine I come from Birmingham to London to collect, really I'm very sad but how did they get my phone and why did the phone company let that scammer get our contact? It's upsetting 😭

Will I expose more of my details or exacerbate the problem if I reply and tell them where to go in no uncertain terms? Although thinking about it, I doubt they would even understand my choice of the Old English vocabulary...!!Really appreciate the heads up. Good job all round.Av

Heres the SMS I received : "PO: Jamie tried to deliver your parcel today, but nobody was in. Please schedule a new date via: https://local-depot27.com". Thought it was a scam & sure enough, my online protection told me it was an unsafe site. I'd never have entered my details anyhow.

Just had ANOTHER scam SMS this time from 07568434884 stating a parcel has been left at my local Post Office due to a failed delivery. The website this time is https://local-depot30.com

I hope these scammers get caught and forced to repay everyone they’ve scammed.

Please scheduIe a new date via: https://local-depot27.com 447529674249I tried calling the number that was attached to the message, but it rang then immediately was engaged.I started to fill in the re delivery for but stopped as soon as I noticed it was asking for a delivery fee of £1.20.I know Royal mail dont ask for payment for re delivery of items.They have my mobile number after I tried to contact the driverWill this cause me any issues ???
I received it at 0150 this morning (31/5/2022). Jamie very busy postman.
I have received 2 messages from Jamie, saying the same thing. So I telephoned the number from a landline, rang once then all of a sudden became engaged, tried again 5 minutes later and the same thing happened.
