I received a text message that my shipping address was incorrect. I opened the text for the correct information as it looked legitimate. I filled out my address and went to the next screen when they wanted credit card information for additional fees. I then was suspicious and didn’t give out anymore information. The # was 833-806-0906. I looked it up and now see that it was someone trying to get my credit card #.

    • May 24, 2022 at 9:26 AM by an anonymous user from: Little Mahanoy Township, Dornsife, Pennsylvania, United States

  • May 20, 2022 at 12:38 PM by an anonymous user from: Sciota Township, Laingsburg, Michigan, United States

I received a text message that my shipping address was incorrect. I opened the text and then tried to verify it with USPS. It sure seemed legitimate so gave my credit card info but was suspicious. Called USPS to ask about shipping number and it was not theirs. Scammed! Cancelled my credit card. The text showed that it had come from (833) 806-0906. Please someone shut them down!

  • May 20, 2022 at 12:32 PM by an anonymous user from: Newark, New Jersey, United States

I also received this text message and clicked the link without thinking, takes you to a mock USPS page with nothing clickable except for the text fields to put in your information . Did not submit information but could tell it was a scam as soon as it sent me to the website. This confirms it.

  • May 20, 2022 at 12:30 PM by an anonymous user from: Texas, United States

I just received one and it asked me for credit card information to redeliver my package. Thankfully I realized it was a scam when I checked the tracking number on USPS.

  • May 20, 2022 at 12:11 PM by an anonymous user from: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Just received it. It is definitely fraud. The link (which I typed in) takes you to a page that is almost indistinguishable from the real USPS site, except you find if you try to click on any links they do not go anywhere. They ask for your full name, address, phone number, and payment information in order to "redeliver your package."

  • May 20, 2022 at 12:00 PM by an anonymous user from: Downtown Redmond, Redmond, Washington, United States

The dead giveaway was, scammer asked for your card information for redelivery of a package I never made. And the fake tracking number provided does not match the Real USPS tracking numbers.

  • May 20, 2022 at 11:48 AM by an anonymous user from: Sciota Township, Laingsburg, Michigan, United States

I went to the USPS site because I am expecting a package and felt something was off. No information for that tracking number listed. When I looked at the link they wanted to charge $3.00 to redeliver. Knew for sure at that point it was fake and this site confirmed it. thank you

  • May 20, 2022 at 11:35 AM by an anonymous user from: Sciota Township, Laingsburg, Michigan, United States

A similar message with the following link: https://uspscommuns.com/gfd2

  • May 20, 2022 at 11:07 AM by an anonymous user from: Blountville, Tennessee, United States

I am glad I didn't respond to it, as well. I received a text message and thought it was odd, since I have Informed Delivery and nothing showed on the legitimate site. I thought the fraudulent site was not obviously odd, though. I also sent a note to the USPS.

  • May 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM by an anonymous user from: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Received a message today: "Shipping information cannot be identified and we will suspend your delivery. http://uspremem.com/rtyqw1 " Did not click link.

the only delivery I was waiting on were my Free Covid Tests, which were said to have been delivered 4 days ago but I never received and I put in claims with USPS because people were telling me the mail carriers were taking them and claiming they were delivered.

    • May 20, 2022 at 12:20 PM by info

      It is a scam.

  • May 20, 2022 at 10:31 AM by an anonymous user from: Big Rapids, Michigan, United States

Text has nothing to do with USPS. Just a stupid, lazy scammer!

  • May 20, 2022 at 9:00 AM by an anonymous user from: Edison, New Jersey, United States

  • May 20, 2022 at 8:10 AM by an anonymous user from: Ashburn, Virginia, United States
