The NHS text scams falsely claim the recipients have been in close contact with a person who has contracted the Omicron variant and ask them to click a link to book a test kit via a fake, fraudulent, and phishing NHS website.

The fake NHS website will ask visitors to enter their personal and financial information to purchase a test kit.
