dpd-track.net DPD Tracking Scam Text Message

The website, dpd-track.net, is a fake DPD website being used by scammers. The scammers send a DPD Tracking scam text message to potential victims with a link to dpd-track.net claiming a parcel meant for them has been waiting at a DPD delivery warehouse due to insufficient fees paid from the sender. The scam text then asks potential victims to click the link in it, but they will be taken to a fake DPD and phishing website that steals personal and financial information.

    Followed the link and they ask for your financial information bank details, which is not something you should ever give out.

    It’s clever and makes you think it could be real.

    It’s not!

    Just received the above mentioned scam text message from the scammer mobile number 44 7568 720687

    Careful and delete it.

    Had the text from Dpd-trak.net 3days ago I reported it as scam.

    Whenever you get a text from a number asking to click a link or a website, Google the link/website/number to make sure its not a scam. Because that is what I did and I realised that it's a scam text.

    Just received a text from 447599669484 purporting to be from DPD regarding a missed delivery containing a link to Dpd-track.net which is a fraudulent website believed from Indonesia. This number has been used before in a previous scam, the number of which is to a bona-fide UK company.

    The text I got was from a UK mobile 07713 771327 (no doubt a burner phone or fake no). The message reads: "DPD UK: We have been notified there are overdue shipping fees linked to your order. To resolve this, visit: Dpd-track.net"

    A few weeks back, I fell for a similar scam, this time by email from people purporting to be DPD or a similar company. I shop online a lot, and was in a hurry, so I wasn't too suspicious, until I foolishly entered my details on the fake site, paid the £1 fee, only to immediately get emails from a site I'd never heard of called "fancymeshop.com" thanking me for signing up to their voucher scheme.

    Fancy Me Shop is owned by a company called Behamar Trading Ltd which is registered in Cyprus.

    My bank stopped my card when these people tried to debit a further higher amount a few days later, as well as blocking payment demands from the company.

    I got this text on 24 June. I was expecting a parcel and clicked on the link and the website looks so real, it's frightening. I clicked back out of it without taking action and I checked how the item I was expecting was being posted to me and it was by Royal Mail. I feel very angry about these texts, especially when the website looks flawless, no spelling mistakes etc.
