The National Commercial Bank (NCB) alert scam is an ongoing phishing and smishing operation where fraudsters impersonate the bank to steal your money and personal details. Scammers use fake texts, emails, or calls claiming your account is compromised, suspended, or has received a strange transaction, and instruct you to click a malicious link to "resolve" the issue.

Warning Signs

• Urgent & Threatening Language: Messages often warn of immediate account suspension or loss of funds to panic you into acting quickly.
• Suspicious Links: You are urged to click a link that leads to a fake website designed to look like the official National Commercial Bank (NCB) portal.
• Requests for Credentials: The fake site or caller will ask for your PIN, passwords, One-Time Passwords (OTPs), or RSA token codes.

Protect Yourself

• Never click links: NCB has a strict "no click, no link" policy for communications. They will never send you a link to log in via SMS or email.
• Do not share sensitive data: Legitimate bank officials will never ask for your password, PIN, or OTP.
• Verify independently: If you receive a suspicious alert, do not reply or call the number in the message. Instead, hang up and directly contact NCB using their official numbers: (876) 936-4235, 1-888-NCB-FIRST (622-3477), or (876) 935-4243.
