T-Mobile Scam Shield is a free security suite and app designed to identify, block, and report scam and robocalls on T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and Sprint networks. It leverages network-level artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the STIR/SHAKEN caller verification framework to update its defense database every six minutes.

How to Activate and Manage Scam Shield

  • Download the App: Get the management interface via the T-Mobile Scam Shield on Apple App Store for iOS or via Google Play for Android devices, or use the unified T-Life App.
  • Quick Network Codes (Postpaid & Prepaid):
    • Turn on Scam Block directly from your device by dialing #662#.
    • Check or enable Caller ID status by dialing #436#.
    • Disable Scam Block at any time by dialing #632# (varies by plan; check via shortcode or app toggle).
  • Report Suspicious Numbers: Forward any suspicious text messages or SMS fraud directly to 7726 (SPAM), or report mislabeled calls directly through the active log in the Scam Shield / T-Life application interface.
