The email message below: "We are upgrading our Email system to enable us reduce the occurrence of Spam.", which appears as if it came from Gmail, is actually a phishing scam use by cybercriminals to trick the recipients into submitting their Gmail usernames, passwords, phone numbers, date of birth and email addresses on a fake webpage. This phishing email message was not sent by Gmail and you should not click on any of the link within it.

If you have already submitted your information on the bogus form, please change your Gmail password immediately.
