Persons using Avast antivirus software are getting a malware alert when they try to read their Facebook messages. This alert blocks the Facebook message web address and prevents the user from viewing their Facebook messages because it claims a malware was detected. Please note that this is a problem with the Avast antivirus software and updating it will fix the problem.
To fix this problem just update your Avast engine and virus definition.

I'm using Avast and I am able to browse pinterest.com. I recommend that you use Avast to do a full scan of your computer.use the "Boot Time" scan option.
Avast blocked me from browsing the Pinterest.com site, telling me there is a malware something.. what can i do to fix it?
