Lottery Scam - Congratulations! Your Email Address has Won GBP Read the Attached Document

The email message below: "Congratulations! Your Email Address has Won GBP Read the Attached Document for Complete Information," is fraudulent and you should not respond to it with your personal information. Every month, thousands of these email messages are sent out by scammers to trick their potential victims into stealing their personal information and/or sending money.

Remember, never send your personal information to anyone in an email message or send money to someone who contacted you via email message.

Also, there is no Microosft, Gmail, Motorola, Google, Hotmail, Live.com, Windows Live, Microsoft Outlook, Windows 8 or Android lottery.

Date: Mon, 27 Apr 2015 01:40:02 -0700

Dear Microsoft User/Winner,

We wish to congratulate you for being among the four (4) selected winners in the ongoing Microsoft E-mail Electronic Online Sweepstakes; we believe with your prize, you will continue to be an active user in patronizing Microsoft Products and email.

Kindly go though the attached official letter from Microsoft Corporations.

    I've received an e-mail stating I've won the online ballot competition in the UK as randomly selected by eballot a price of £800,000 and have to identify myself they even send me a winning ticket, certificate, insurance certificate and a power of attorney from an Adam Smith chamber 29 Harley street London united kingdom W1G9QR
