Google values your right to privacy! Your information is 100% secured and will be used exclusively for the purpose of this award only.

The Google Promotion Award Team has discovered a huge number of double claims due to winners informing close friends, relatives and third parties about their winning and also sharing their pin numbers. As a result of this, these friends try to claim the lottery on-behalf of the real winners. The Google Promotion Award Team has reached a decision that any double claim discovered by the Lottery Board will result to the cancellation of that particular winning, making a loss for both the double claimer and the real winner, as it is taken that the real winner was the informer to the double claimer about the lottery. So you are hereby strongly advised once more to keep your winnings strictly confidential until you claim your prize.

I have got the same email, the winning price...

    My question is:

Being Google such a great company, knowing all of us, how come this can happen in their name?

It is unacceptable, and they should be sending alerts,

In my case I simply checked, but other people can be victims of this fraud and this is the only thing you are doing?

    I can't understand it.

    Thanks.

Looking forward to a better action from the biggest company in the world.

The Google Promotion Award Team has discovered a huge number of double claims due to winners informing close friends relatives and third parties about their winning and also sharing their pin numbers. As a result of this, these friends try to claim the lottery on behalf of the real winners. The Google Promotion Award Team has reached a decision from its headquarters that any double claim discovered by the Lottery Board will result to the canceling of that particular winning, leading to a loss for both the double claimer and the real winner, as it is taken that the real winner was the informer to the double claimer about the lottery. • June 21, 2017 at 5:56 AM by info

That is not enough information to track them down. And, even if Google could track them down, it would be hard to find their exact location and arrest them, because they are operating in foreign countries that do not have the resources to do so.

Google values your right to privacy! Your information is 100% secured and will be used exclusively for the purpose of this award only.

So you are hereby strongly advised once more to keep your winnings strictly confidential until you claim your prize.

Congratulations from the Staffs & Members of the Google interactive Lotteries Board Commission.

    Yours faithfully,

Sundar Pichai - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google Inc™"

Thank you very much for this disclaimer. Am suggesting that google could be alerting users about such schemes before a person opens up his/her personal account. This could save many before it's too late!

Scammers are at it again. I just got the 2017 notification letter in my email today! How do we stop this as it made it past my spam folder?

    • April 18, 2017 at 1:26 PM by info

Flag it again as junk/spam to help the spam filter learn how to handle the fraudulent email. Remember, spam filters are not 100% accurate and scammers are always finding new ways of getting around them.
