Beware of www.playgentz.com - It is a Fraudulent Website

The website "www.playgentz.com" is a fraudulent one. The website which claims it will deliver all your favorite movies, music, and games across all your favorite platforms, is similar to the fraudulent websites www.geeker.com, lilplay.com and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have cancelled their subscriptions.

They (playgentz) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period, but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undertermined of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to playgentz.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

I wanted to watch a PBS documentary about an area where I grew up. I believed that I was on a legit PBS related website. When the documentary had just started (actually, now that I think about it, it was a 20th Century Fox short overture!) it stopped and I was asked to register with the website.

It said that because they were only allowed to show this documentary to US citizens, I needed enter a credit card to verify my country. "You will not be charged (I was, $1.03) to sign up". It even showed $0.00 at the top of the window. Well, one card locked out the transaction and was automatically cancelled(though we did not know that at that moment).

So, I tried a second card. That one was successful but I started being led away from the website that had the documentary on it. Now, I know I have a problem.

I called the card company for the second card and found the $1.03 charge had doubled. "playgentz.com" had charged me to sign up....and, again to cancel. Cute, right? This all happened in about 40 minutes time.

I have the same experience with this website. They offer you 5 days free access and then they charge you 50 EUR per month even if you did not sign up for it. I think sharing this information will help to everyone.
