Playgentz is an Untrustworthy Content Streaming Website

Playgentz at www.playgentz.com is a untrustworthy content streaming website. The website which claims it will deliver all your favorite movies, music, and games across all your favorite platforms, is similar to the untrustworthy websites www.geeker.com, lilplay.com and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have cancelled their subscriptions.

They (playgentz) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period, but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undertermined of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to playgentz.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

Regards! It is the second time that the same amount has been deducted from my credit card twice. The first time after I canceled the service, the service was sent back by you and the musikmax who also debited my bank card! After a short reassurance, the same operation was repeated after a MONTH! Playgentz: 20207 HUF musikmax: 20318 HUF was deducted from the account when I canceled two months ago and I didn't use the service once! THEREFORE, I AM UNRELEVANT TO CONTACT THE AUTHORITIES IF THEY ARE FAILED TO REFUND THE AMOUNT AND RECOGNIZE THE CANCELLATION! Yours sincerely, LAJOS HARMATH

MY daughter had 114 taken from her account from Playgentz. She has never looked at nor signed up for this site. It is a mystery, however, the bank has suggested that she may well have been hacked from doing some online shopping, it happens all the time. So never ever leave your account details on shopping sites, do one-offs. Cancelled her card so hoping this never happens again.

You cannot trust them to cancel, therefore, open a dispute with your bank to have your money refunded. Then cancel your card and get a new one to prevent any further unwanted charges.

Hi, just thought to share, I recently tried the Playgentz free 5 day trial, within 5 minutes of signing up I cancelled. Now three days later I've noticed a small transaction coming out the account. Looks suspicious to me.

I wanted to watch a PBS documentary about an area where I grew up. I believed that I was on a legit PBS related website. When the documentary had just started (actually, now that I think about it, it was a 20th Century Fox short overture!) it stopped and I was asked to register with the website.

It said that because they were only allowed to show this documentary to US citizens, I needed enter a credit card to verify my country. "You will not be charged (I was, $1.03) to sign up". It even showed $0.00 at the top of the window. Well, one card locked out the transaction and was automatically cancelled(though we did not know that at that moment).

So, I tried a second card. That one was successful but I started being led away from the website that had the documentary on it. Now, I know I have a problem.

I called the card company for the second card and found the $1.03 charge had doubled. "playgentz.com" had charged me to sign up...and, again to cancel. Cute, right? This all happened in about 40 minutes time.

I have the same experience with this website. They offer you 5 days free access and then they charge you 50 EUR per month even if you did not sign up for it. I think sharing this information will help to everyone.
