Pepplays is a Fraudulent Content Streaming Website
Pepplays is a Fraudulent Content Streaming Website

Pepplays located at www.pepplays.com is a fraudulent content streaming website. The website which claims it will deliver all your favorite movies, music, and games across all your favorite platforms, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have cancelled their subscriptions.

They (pepplays.com) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodically charge your credit card for an undetermined amount of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to pepplays.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

Hello, you see I was browsing normal by chrome and suddenly I got an ad that looked like google. He asked me to answer questions like "which server uses", "use smarthphone or tablet" the question was that there were 10 questions and answer them because they had a symbol above, next to the url (the green lock) and started with https. So far as I knew those were safe places

I said that they chose 10 people at random a day to participate in a google contest and I thought it was safe just because the symbol started to respond. Since it also had a timer of 3 minutes.

Already answering the questions asked me to put an email and create a password to register

And then another page came out (also with green padlock) where they asked for your card information and I already suspect and I did not put any data of my card or my name.

In the end I left and search google "pepplays" and found your page.

MY question is ... will I have a problem for having introduced my mail ?? (I put one that is not associated with my paypal account). But as I see in the comments that even cheated them without even having heard of this page I started to worry.

First of all, Thanks

Once you didn't give them your email account username and password, you are OK. Just be careful going forward.

I was sent an email informing me I had won an iphone and in order to recieve it I needed to enter my details including my card details and a one off fee of $2 to cover the postage on the phone would be charged only to discover a week later of extra charges including a $75 charge.

I have been in contact with my bank and was told to contact the pepplays site directly to ask for a refund. I've tried contacting the site how do I get my money back.

I believe the way they word their email in regards to the iphone it does not say filling in your details automatically subscribes you to their site allowing them to rip you off and there is no way of contacting them. HELP PLEASE!

Pepplays withdrew 5 x euro 49,95 from my bank account in the Netherlands and refuses to refund my money saying that I subscribed and did not terminate the account within the 5 days free period.

In fact I never subscribed or used any game and was unaware of Pepplays existence until I discovered their withdrawals recently.

On my demand they provided my address, some credit card details and an IP address. I argued that the IP address is not mine but yesterday they once more denied my refund request, even after I threatened to go to the police and Europol.

They responded: "Good day, As mentioned we can't issue a full refund. If you'll take legal actions free to do so." I will report to the police this week. Not sure if my credit card company will do anything.

Hello everyone! My experience was such that I tell you honestly, I did not even realize I was subscribed. Today I had to unsubscribe my credit card. I would like to know if you can access again to apply my charges after commenting the problem in the bank. What should I do? How should I get rid of them? I even pulled my data out of my iCloud cards. What do you advise me? I thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for the article.
I was on another site and looking urgently for books. I thought the site seems to be serious and they explained everything very good why they need the dates of the card. But it was something written about films even if I was on a page for ebooks.

So I was afraid and looked on the internet and found your article. So I contacted my bank and asked directly for blocking the card and I had luck, only 2 Euros have gone.
I've learned: a serious site will not directly ask for your credit card dates xD Or at least " don't trust sites who ask you for that"...

The pepplays.com tries to cheat with very nice offers to people. The weird thing is because they come on IP addresses and block the PC so that their scam side comes at the top. Bin synonymous' 've noticed in good time and my card lock. They already had their money. I also sent a notice but I did not get a response. FINGER OFF of such offers with a very nice promise.
