Online users, be aware of fake "Email Service Providers Removal Requested" emails like the one below. The fake emails are being sent by cybercriminals, who are attempting to trick the recipients into clicking on the link in them, which goes to a fake and phishing website that will steal their email username and password if they attempt to sign into it.

From: "Email Service Providers"<admin@worldnet.att.net>

Attention: info

Our record indicates that you recently made a request to shutdown your email

info@ And this request will be processed shortly.

If this request was made accidentally and you have no knowledge of it, you are advised to cancel the request now

Cancel De-activation

However, if you do not cancel this request, your account will be shutdown shortly

and all your email data will be lost permanently.


Online users, who have been tricked by the phishing scam are asked to change their password immediately before their accounts are hijacked and used fraudulently.

Note: Some of the names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers in email samples on this website may have been impersonated.
