Review of "SCHMDT Straps" - is it a Trustworthy Online Store?

BUYER BEWARE ALERT!! This has been the worst experience and return policy I have ever encountered. First of all - the Syndicate band looks cheap in person and it's very difficult to adjust even with the tool I tried to find "how to" videos, but none seem to exist for this band. Sent the company an email and got the wrong video and a suggestion to take it to a jeweller (no thanks, this was supposed to be easy) I'll just deal with your 100% satisfaction guarantee - HA, that's a joke.

First off they charge you $40.00 US to return thru them. When I asked if I could return it myself, the answer was yes, but you won't' get a refund!!!! So, I need to pay a jeweller to fix this or I can count it as a loss since I paid $47 for the band (so why would I pay $40 to return it). I don't know what country these people are from but my advice would be to STAY AWAY! They don't care about your satisfaction at all. Even the person I was dealing with at the company told me he agrees with me - It's a rip-off. He actually put that in writing.

Schmdt straps is a company that buys cheap Chinese watch bands that you can buy on sites like alibaba or AliExpress for $6-$15 and triple the price and sell it to you without even handling the straps, they have them shipped right from China.

Horrible quality and horrible customer service as well. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They look great for a week or so and then the metal tarnished or wears out.

Dropships Aliexpress brands for ridiculous profit. Do not buy from this store!

agree, not reliable, ordered one, got 3, was charged for 4, will not reply.

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM! Absolutely not worth the $90 because it never came! Company is not helpful at all and they turn off the comments on instagram so no one can express how much of a disapointment they are. Order off of Amazon.

I was charged double and they will not reply to any of my emails.

They have very poor customer service. They never responded to numerous e-mail communications.

This is a total scam, buyers beware, please do not buy from this site, the pictures are not the same as the product, they will send you a cheap knockoff from China worth probably less than $5.

I just received mine after almost a month and I am really dissapointed... Looks cheap as h**l. Packing - just plastic bag with name Crested on it. You would be better of just ordering straight from crested.aliexpress.com..

The straps took a long time to arrive (ordered 25/11, arrived 17/12) from China but the website promotes itself as an 'all-American' company shipping from the US.

And the packaging is very disappointing - the straps are in simple plastic bags with the brand name "Crested". The straps look cheap, not nearly as good as those pictured. I actually thought that my order had been 'hijacked' online and replaced with a cheap knock-off. A slick website but the product is cheap and of poor quality.

I could have bought the same for a fraction of the price at any market stall.

I ordered a watch strap from these people 4 weeks ago, I was charged twice and told I was be refunded for one. I never received the money in my account.

My order has not been shipped and they stopped responding to my emails. They have also been deleting any negative comments on social media.
